Nancy was born and raised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During the 1980’s and early 1990’s her career focused on management consulting and support in the information technology business. Between 1995 and 2000 she fulfilled her desire to travel and see the world, living in Hong Kong and Chile while working with United Airlines. In 2001 Nancy moved to Toronto, Canada to live with Jim. She started to study jewellery design and fabrication in the Jewellery Arts Program at George Brown College. After graduating with honours in 2004, Nancy started her own jewellery business and is now an established independent jeweler, working from her home studio in Toronto. Nancy focuses on creating one-of-a-kind, limited production and custom designed jewellery.
